Meet Dr. Douglas Devries, D.C.
Dr. Douglas DeVries is a former Marine that was active in service from 1978 to 1981. During his time in the service he was stationed at 29 Palms, CA where he attended school to become a Field Radio Operator. He was then re-stationed to Marine Base Quantico in Virginia where he was an Enlisted Instructor at the Communication Officer School. Also; during his time as a Marine, he was deployed overseas to Okinawa, Japan where he was NCOIC (Noncommissioned Officer in Charge) of Communications for Fox Battery 2/12.
After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, he moved back home to Minnesota, where he was preparing to attend Physical Therapy school. However; as they often do, an important life event changed his mind. In 1982 while riding his motorcycle; a car forced him into a curb, causing him to hyperextend his knee. He knew he didn't want surgery or medication, so he sought out care with Dr. Sullwold, a Chiropractor.
